    Freedom of speech is on attack by the Obama socialist in Washington. Clearly, the left is afraid of free thought and expression, much like the old Soviet Union and today’s Communist China. This limit of free speech will mean that the Political Right will lose it’s few voices, but in all reality the same rules should apply to people like Keith Olberman and Chris Mathews of NBC and others to numerous to mention.  But will that take place?  Not on your life, the whole idea of the fairness doctrine is to eliminate fairness.  It will kill fairness and go even further than before because the Socialist in Washington, they have the ability and the votes to do what they want.  In the end, a northern republican senator possibly from Maine or Pennsylvania  will side with the Socialist Party and Obama and that defeat will be final.  As much of the population in the northern half of the country has been decimated by job loss to China and the south.  Northern voters and there elected officials have accepted much of the socialist, and eventually communist ideas.  I would expect that northern cities and some states to fall in line with the Obama quite nicely.  However, the southern states and population are much different than the northern.  Southern’s are the people that Mr Obama has said that these people will cling to there guns and religion.  Can you imagine, In America, guns and God’s bible.

    At this date, fifteen states are in the process of telling Obama and the socialists to stay out of states business.  Clearly, many states do not trust the federal government because it is and has been a complete failure while taking citizens rights.  To that end, Mississippi has recently passed law that protects the rights of gun owners during martial law.

That, of course, would be a big problem for the lawbreakers and any federal governmental body that might try to illegally get citizens guns and US constitutional rights.
   
    When Obama and the socialist remove free speech, via fairness doctrine, within a short time, I would expect that to feed the secessionist movement like a can of gasoline on a fire.  I can imagine that the Southern States will stand shoulder to shoulder and their American Patriots will make sure that southern border wall is finished.  I believe that these Patriots will do some other things quite naturally.  I would expect legal men and women, with birth certificates, Bibles and yes those guns, will be flocking into the south and to the American freedom that was once the United States of America.  I would expect employers will move out of this socialist northern states and head south into states that allow good climate for industrial growth. The highways and interstates heading south will be full with people that want to open businesses, work or enjoy the freedom that they once had.  The south, with conservative will grow and prosper.  Just as the highway south will be full, the northern roads will be jammed packed with people that want the liberal or socialist version of the “good life.” The welfare rolls will be over flowing with the new dependents for the socialist states.  Crime, high taxes, poverty and misery are all part of the “change” that President Obama wants all to have.  The northern states will also have what they have in all major cities, generational slavery.  Just like the black families in the inter cities, and the Hispanic families in the sanctuary cities like Chicago, NYC, LA, SF and others. http://mikemoseley.blogtownhall.com/2008/01/31/lucky_we_have_an_election2.thtml  The incoming welfare state will cripple the entire state budgets just like California, Illinois, and  Michigan which has been in the news.  Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Minnesota will join the bankrupted states.

    The south will rise again or the entire nation will crumble under the weight of Obama-ism.  The socialists will be lead by a man that is known for his Marxist friends and family.  That Marxism is on display for all to see, you do not have to look closely, just open your eyes.  Those men in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and South Carolina will die before they hand a communists there gun.  The men in Maine will have there two senators stop by to pick them up.  As far as I’m concerned, my gun, God’s Book, and my pickup will head south for some of the best bar-b-que on the planet.  I won’t forget to bring my birth certificate either. 

How about a $4Trillion stimulus plan?

    If the United States could add $4 trillion over the next several years to our  economy would you support that policy? A new study (1) by ICF International found that by exploiting America's off-limits energy supplies the US would create 160,000 new, mostly high-paying jobs with benefits, something the American worker desperately needs.  These new jobs would generate $1.7 trillion for government coffers. All told, the economic value of all U.S. oil and natural gas on federal lands eclipses $4 trillion. How’s that for a stimulus plan. $1.7 trillion to the US treasury is a tremendous about of money to generate for the benefit of all. For you that don’t know, the US treasury is were the US government gets the funds to remain in business.
For example, if the your local community college needs to have more  federal money for student grants, this expenditure would be payed ultimately by these monies. Just as the bills for colleges come due, Social Security also has a problem. The Brooking Institute (2)  says the “pay as you go” will be unable to pay in entirety in 2017 and will be only be able to pay 74% of out pays in the year 2041. So the need is real for a large population of Americans. Investor Business Daily suggests another problem that exists, at the height of the oil-price spike, we were spending nearly $700 billion a year on foreign oil, an amount equal to the massive U.S. financial bailout passed last summer. October's trade data tell why. Despite a record plunge in oil prices from the late summer and into fall, the actual volume of oil the U.S. imported went up. Oil still accounts for nearly half our trade deficit  compared with less than 30% two years ago. We still spend hundreds of billions each year to import oil because  we produce less and less here at home. Right now our economy is predicated on OPEC pumping what we need, they can set the price of oil and therefore gasoline, at whatever price they want. America does not have the economic stability or capability to weather OPEC production cuts that cause price increases. We as a nation depend on the most unstable part of the world. America’s energy policy, if you will, doesn’t benefit the American people, but it does benefit terror supporting states like Iran, Venezuela, Russia, Syria and all there allies. Consider for a moment, what nations benefits financial from terrorism, is it not the terror supporting states themselves?  Many remember last fall,  when Russia invaded Georgia but how many remember that the Russians  took control of the natural gas and oil pipelines that provide energy supplies into Europe. The results were higher energy prices on the open market, as these pipelines are main supplies for all of Europe. In a Washington Times article(3) it is clear that the location of the pipelines were built in order to avoid Russia and Iran, two terror supporting states. Needless to say that didn’t work. If you want to know what it means to national security, look at Iran (4) , Fars News Agency (FNA) is Iran's leading independent news agency says, they are in the process of building 7 refineries. Those seven refineries will stabilize their economy and national security because they already have oil. The bottom line, if we don’t fund terror supporters financially, the US and the world is benefitted greatly. I have heard many say  that America doesn’t have any oil, nothing could be further from the truth.
    We keep hearing there isn't enough domestic oil to make a difference, but this is utter nonsense. According to U.S. government estimates, 86 billion barrels of oil lie undeveloped in the outer-continental shelf alone. Another 36 billion or so can be found offshore Alaska and in ANWR. Add to that 30 billion barrels or so in the lower 48. And even that understates the total.
    Added to that total is the Bakken Formation (6) in North Dakota and Montana.  This has an estimated 3.0 to 4.3 billion barrels of recoverable oil in an area. The most impressive Green River basin, which straddles a wide swath of the West stretching from Colorado to Idaho, contains 1 to 2 trillion barrels of oil trapped in rock shale deposits.  Yes, trillion. Put in perspective, since the advent of the oil age in 1859, total world oil use has been about 1 trillion barrels. Today, the U.S. pumps just 3.5 billion barrels of oil each year, while consuming about 7.5 billion. By exploiting what we have, we could be energy-secure for at least 100 years while we figure out how to make economically viable alternatives to oil. And taxpayers wouldn't have to foot the bill. Last month, OPEC announced deep production cuts. These cuts will drive the price of oil sharply higher. Along with Russia, OPEC accounts for nearly 45% of world oil output. The United States of America could literally replace OPEC and every terror supporter in the world by opening America’s resource to benefit the American people. Think for a moment, how could America have a energy policy without using all of her natural resources? Why does our energy policy benefit OPEC and why doesn’t it benefit Americans?

    In today’s political climate, energy companies are looked at as “evil big oil” IBD (5) reports, the United States government taxes oil companies like all corporations, at the second-highest taxation rate in the developed world (39.25% of their income), which stifles their ability to do business.  Worse still, U.S. firms are taxed on operations around the world.  Is it any wonder that Haliburton moved to Dubai in 2007. Tyco International, Foster Wheeler and Transocean International, all energy companies, all moved to Switzerland.  It's an especially bad sign when domestic companies leave because Americans lose good high paying jobs with benefits and America loses financial stability geography.  What would it look like if major changes were made to the energy policies ?

    It’s not hard to visualize what America would look like if we could change American energy policy.  For just a moment, consider what 160,000 high paying jobs with benefits would do to our country.  Income up and unemployment down.  Family spending would be increased in stores of all kinds, food, clothes, autos, appliances, etc.   Businesses would see a demand for the products that they sell, they would have to hire people putting more people to work.  Large Energy companies would  purchase  good and services in astronomical amounts, also putting more people to work.  The energy companies would need heavy equipment, tools, and supplies of all kinds.  New jobs would be created.  These new jobs would move this country into the 21st century and include oil field workers, refinery workers, and construction workers of all kinds. Iron workers, carpenters, pipe fitters, electricians, millwrights, laborers, painters, all the technical workers, office workers and engineers will be needed for America’s growth. This opportunity will offer high paying long term jobs to a generation of the American working men and women just when American worker needs them the most.  The impact on government would also be astronomical financially.  Instead of borrowing money for a stimulus plan to inject funds into an economy, driving debt up, government would find itself very quickly with a surplus of revenue into the treasury.  That surplus could be used to stabilize social security for the older generation.  It would also make sure  every American, young and old, had a quality education and more.  Include a tax cut and the the large employers that have left our shore would have to consider moving back and the nation would be rebuilt again.  So all of America needs a plan.
    It is time to consider what is best for America and it’s people.  It is time the energy policies benefit Americans and not some dictator in South America or the middle east.  It time to put America’s to work on American soil.  Therefore, if you are Democrat or Republican you can support  creating high paying long term jobs with benefits.  If you’re Democrat or Republican you can create an expanded economy without creating debt.  I would ask you to talk to people that you know, write letters to the editor but most importantly, research this subject like  our country and your children depended on it, because it does.

    The energy stakes were  raised with Russia’s invasion of Georgia.  The Kremlin has made a military move because they want to control the oil pipe line that runs through the former Soviet state.  Their military easily advanced and is entrenched in Georgia.  As President Bush, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and NATO have moved to bring about a cease fire, the Russians have continued to advance and destroy infrastructure that moves oil to market.  A major problem is occurring because all of Europe, and that includes NATO  get their majority of energy from Russia.  Moscow controls this situation and has America’s attention just as the Iranians are finishing the last phase of the nuclear bomb.  Needless to say the Israeli people are watching closely.
    The entire Russian economy is driven by their state run energy business.  The higher the price, more the profit for the government.  The nation has much to gain by cutting or controlling  oil supply because that raises energy prices.  They have been active in the design, building and maintenance of the Iran nuclear sector.  Again, destabilizing the entire world oil market to drive global cost through the roof.  The Kremlin has a interest and history in encouraging uncertainty anywhere in the world, and are rewarded by financial gain in the energy sector.  Just as the Russians are in Georgia they are also allies of the radical Islamic regime in Iran.
    Needless to say, as this scenario plays out, the American voters are putting money in the Russia’s military’s hands just like we are supporting the radical Iranian regime.  The  American people have their hands tied just like the Europeans do with one exception.  America controls our own destiny because the United States has more energy reserves than OPEC.  With the price of oil and gas at all time highs and rising, the Democrats have denied America the use of our own natural resources.  Democratic leadership and regulation have protected  OPEC and Russian profits, have rewarded radical nations for war like behavior,  and caused Americans and Europeans financial difficultly.  Now with Europe under the thumb of Putin, Europeans will be held hostage by Moscow’s energy policy.  For all of eastern Europe, memories of the Soviet communists are very real. 
    America needs energy and jobs. Europe would like to have our problem because they could solve their problem by drilling for oil and building refineries. Iran is in the process of building 7 refineries currently.  Iran, just like Russia, know that oil and refineries equal low energy costs, financial security and national security, something the Democrats have long forgotten.
    I would like to suggest opening all American land via a national security emergency.  The Democratic party has brought this world to a state of  energy conflict.  It is time for the Democratic party to stand down and step away from their failed energy policy.  The Democratic regulations have the entire world by the throat and Russia and OPEC are applying the pressure.  The left’s regulations protect the OPEC businesses and fund destabilizing terrorism.  The Democratic policies have helped the Russian’s oil industry and rewarded any violent military incursions that bring America into global disputes.   The left protects the Chinese/Cuban business as they drill off of the coast of Florida, and of course the Venezuelan dictator’s business.  It is no coincidence that stated enemies with oil resources are destabilizing democracies across the world, their rewards are financial gain payed for by consumers worldwide.  The United States has enough oil for America and all of Europe except our natural resources are controlled by Democratic regulations.  The time has come to remove the obsolete Democratic energy regulations and provide high paying long term jobs for Americans.   Europe needs cheap oil and natural gas and America can provide it.  Clearly, OPEC and Russia want to control the world’s economies via the oil market and the Democrats are helping.

              Last Friday, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent the House to adjournment for a month-long vacation.  However, Republicans are meeting in an effort to bring political pressure and the knowledge of another failed Democratic policy to the voting public. Speaker Pelosi immediately went on a book signing tour without voting on key energy legislation that could give Americans relief from the high cost of fuel.  The Democrats have a long history of attacking the American energy sector and because of that, Americans have paid and will pay for this failure. It is the Democratic policies that deny the opening of oil fields on American soil and off shore.  Washington’s leftist policies have been a complete failure.  Democratic legislation has raised oil prices, food prices, denies Americans high paying long term jobs, and does not increase supply.  With Democratic leaders, Sen. Barack Obama, the Presidential candidate from Illinois, and Democratic House leader Nancy Pelosi (Ca)  the Democrats are in total disarray on the energy issue.  The Democrats historically have fought energy independence at every turn and every opportunity causing today’s energy crisis across our nation.  The Democrats have attacked the coal,  natural gas, oil and refining industries making it more difficult to do business and raising prices for Americans.  
         At this time, the American consumers are at the mercy of OPEC and  Marxist states like Venezuela.  The United States economy, and every citizen  is dependant on the most unstable countries in the world and stated enemies.  This is an economic and national security disaster in progress.  The economic disaster speaks for itself in rising prices on goods and service, rising prices on gasoline, and the deifying of high paying long term jobs across America.  Most importantly, the Democratic energy policies have taken America to total dependance on imported OPEC oil.  The United States of America spends $700 billion a year buying oil from stated enemies and supporter of terror. That $700 billion is approximately 4 times the cost of the war in Iraq war at this time. The time has come for America to stand up to the economy killing Democratic regulations and stop the forced  funding of terror states that are members of OPEC.  The Democratic leftists energy policies support the OPEC economies and fund the terrorist that work from OPEC nations.  Whenever the Democrats speak of “evil big oil”know that every Middle Eastern terror sponsoring state knows that Americans have fallen for the foolishness of Democratic leadership.  The OPEC nations oil companies make profits that make Exxon-Mobil like microscopic.

The Energy Information Administration estimates that OPEC’s net oil export revenues will be $1.251 trillion in 2008.  Clearly, the Democrats energy policy has taken jobs from Americans and funded terrorism across the world.  The Democrats have guaranteed that Americans fund our enemies to the tune of $700 Billion in 2007 and a substantial increase for 2008.  So when you see or read about another Democrat in the Middle East kissing the backside of a OPEC dictator, be well aware that the Democrats are the ones in bed with “evil” big oil.  This should be more troubling to Americans than Democrat Rep.  John Murtha’s  attacks and condemnation of the United States Marines on the battlefield of Haditha.

    The Democrat energy plan for lowering oil and gas prices is quite disturbing when you  think about it.  Their plan, via Democratic congressman Phi Hare’s office in the 17th district in Illinois, is to suspend oil shipment to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.  File suit against the OPEC oil producers in US courts, and of course raise taxes on the American oil industry. Clearly, the Democrats in congress would cause prices to increase  with these leftist measures.  The Democrats are siding, not with the American people, but with OPEC.  As the Democrat leadership denies American’s high paying long term jobs in the energy sector, the price of oil continues to rise.  With the price at $140 per barrel, oil has become the central issue for every voting  American this election season. America’s energy policy has been written by the Democrat’s environmentalist wing.  These special interests, along with trial lawyers, and Democratic politicians in the federal government and the state level have achieved a stranglehold over America’s oil resources at the cost of every working American.

      The American voters and businesses are fighting for financial survival against the Democratic regulations at the same time OPEC  earns record profits that make Exxon-Mobil’s profit look minuscule. However, the Democrats never attack these OPEC oil giants, they only attack American companies.  That same Democratic party has done everything in there power to harm America’s most productive company.  Democratic policies have rewarded OPEC countries at the cost of denying the America citizenry high paying long term jobs with benefits that result  from America’s natural resources.   At the same time, every major American oil producer has to ward off attacks by every Democrat in politics.  The Democratic policies have, for decades, made the members of OPEC among the wealthiest countries in the world.  This reality also means that the American voters and consumers have and will build the entire economies of OPEC nations like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, and Lybia along with 9 others for a total membership of 13.  These OPEC nations have gained great favor with the Democratic party because it has been  the left who has written energy policies which have made the OPEC members rich beyond their wildest dreams.  The left has advanced the economies, with jobs and business development, of stated enemies, and terror supporters, at the expense of the American economy and it’s people.  By supporting OPEC, the Democrats have forced the American people to build the armies of Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela and others as they fund radical Islamic terrorists    We, the people of America have provided the money to rebuild  OPEC  counties  instead of rebuilding  America.  While supporting policies that have multiplied OPEC wealth, the Democrats domestic energy policies have denied Americans a tax base while cutting high paying jobs that were sent overseas.

than Saudi Arabia has in their entire country.  The good news gets even better for the American voters and public.  There has been a recent discovery of a gigantic oil field in the South Dakota and Montana region. This discovery is three times larger than the Rocky Mountains find.  http://www.nextenergynews.com/news1/next-energy-news2.13s.html  This find has been estimated as a  super massive 200 billion barrel oil field that could potentially make America energy independent for generations.   This new oil field will raise American reserves times 10.  This monumental asset  will offer  many generations of Americans the resources needed to run our economy and raise the quality of life for all in our country.  These oil fields are America’s greatest natural resource and quite possibly the American workers brightest future.  Oil field workers will be in high demand and should reap very good jobs in today’s market. These fields will provide high paying long term employments with benefits to workers and a substantial tax base for infrastructure improvement throughout America, just when it is needed.  Added to these facts is the ANWR field in Alaska.  Governor Palin has pushed ANWR's as an energy resource and Alaska's ability to produce more domestic energy while providing high paying long term jobs.  These jobs  will offer a vast improvement in the quality of life to all Alaskans.  Another gold mine for all Americans reside on both on east and west coasts and the gulf of Mexico.  The continental shelf is a great untaped resource.   China, Holland, Spain, France, and Canada  are working with the Cuba government in the gulf of Mexico to access this countries natural resources.
                                                                               
          America has the perfect opportunity at the perfect time.  America needs oil and high paying jobs with benefits.  The economy needs a boost and this is it.  America’s continued funding of terror supporting regimes via the oil market, has been and will continue to be national security issue of the highest magnitude.  To continue to fund terror supporting states like  Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia , and Venezuela at this or any other time is beyond reason.  Since the United States has not added an oil refinery since 1976, there is a great opportunity for economic and job growth in this area also.  Again, this growth features high paying long term jobs with benefits, something that everyone desires. Iron workers, carpenters, pipe fitters, electricians, millwrights, laborers, painters, all the technical workers, office workers and engineers will be needed for America’s refinery expansion.
    The Democrats for decades have controlled America’s oil resources by supporting the environmentalists agenda.  The world’s economic growth, consumption, and the Democrats leftist policies have driven the price up and supply availability down. Democratic legislation has raised oil prices and sent jobs over seas.  Current legislation will not and has not increased oil supply while demand has multiplied causing prices to rise.  This failure will continue to cause voters financial distress. It is this writers opinion, that ultimately America is better off with high paying long term jobs that lower energy prices and energy independence from the Middle East.     We are in the middle of a economic crises because of the price of oil and gas. However, U.S. energy policies are outdated and have stopped the American economy cold. These outdated leftist policies have succeeded in making energy cost more than we can afford. Americans don’t need more regulations from Washington. America needs more oil supply and more refinery capacity. The only place that we can’t get oil is from all our domestic sources. If you feel that gas is too high, please thank the Democratic environmental energy policies that have overwhelmed the American economy.
            We as a nation are at a crossroads.  Should we continue to pay higher and higher prices at the pump? Will we import oil from terrorist countries and watch the American economy go into a deep recession. Or should we make a decision to open domestic oil fields and build more refineries? That would provide Americans with more oil in the market, lower prices and add high paying, long term employment. The Democrats answer is their recent legislation to ban oil drilling in Alaska permanently. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6236367.stm It would seem the Democrats have decided the American voters want higher energy prices with no chance for higher quality employment, especially in Alaska. With world wide consumption levels higher than production levels by approximately 5 million barrels a day.* http://www.saudinf.com/main/z001.htm Americans can expect the oil price to continue to rise.             
             When the Democrats won the election in 2006, the price for a barrel of oil was at the $58 mark. The left’s stranglehold on the domestic oil supply is troubling indeed. The Democrats are forcing America to buy oil from terrorist states.  Clearly, this issue falls under national security.
            The Democrats have refused to open domestic oil fields to support the voters and the American economy. When the left took over in the fall of 2006 the price for a barrel of oil was $58. At this time a barrel of crude oil is $124. The Democrats will wait for $130, $150,$180 or even $200 per barrel. Something to consider with each of these marks is, will the economy crumble further at $150 to $200 per barrel. I don’t need to guess the answer. Just like every reader knows, the economy will be in ruins. Americans that haven’t got financial problems now will have them in the future with energy prices rising more by the day.
             Something else to consider, is when we open domestic oil fields off shore, in Alaska and every place available, many high paying, long term jobs will help the America family and every business. I believe that these new jobs will have a stabilizing effect on the economy and starve off further economic problems. Most importantly, this a great opportunity to rebuild and develop all of America’s infrastructure. The infrastructure of America needs to be upgraded and expanded as it is. These new jobs would move this country into the 21st century and include oil field workers, refinery workers, and construction workers of all kinds. Iron workers, carpenters, pipe fitters, electricians, millwrights, laborers, painters, all the technical workers, office workers and engineers will be needed for America’s growth. This opportunity will offer high paying long term jobs to a generation of the American working men and women.  It is beyond insane to have an energy policy that doesn’t include America’s natural resouses.
    Again I ask, at what price do the Democrats open the oil fields?

       

    It is the Democratic policies that deny the opening of oil fields on American soil and off shore.  Washington’s leftist regulations have stopped energy companies from building refineries.  For decades, special interest groups such as the Sierra Club and Green Peace have lobbied for legislation that denies American companies access to domestic oil fields.  Wikipedia.com list 89 environmental groups.   Special interests and Democratic politicians in the federal government and the state level have achieved a stranglehold over America’s oil resources.  It is common knowledge that maintains ,with more oil in the market our consumers would see the price of oil drop and stabilize.  At this time, the American consumers are at the mercy of OPEC and states such as Venezuela.  The United States economy, and every citizen  is dependant on the most unstable countries in the world and stated enemies.  
       With the removal or correction of leftist policies, American companies would expand in business and hire American workers.  These high quality jobs would provide workers with benefits such as health insurance and a retirement plan,  something that everyone desires. Added to that failure are the Democratic policies and special interest lawsuits, by trial lawyers, that stop companies from building refineries.  The cost of lawsuits are passed on to the consumer as a business expense, raising prices. These refineries would add gas to the market and cause the price of gas to be reduced. Again, refineries provide good high paying jobs with benefits for workers.  America’s last refinery was built in Garyville, Louisiana in 1976.  I’m amazed that gas isn’t higher. Another point to consider, is the cost of goods and services that increase with fuel and oil based materials.  America’s natural resources should be used to grow good jobs domestically instead of outsourcing the jobs to the Middle East.    It is interesting that Communist China, working with the Cuban government, is in the process of building an oil field off the Florida coast.
            These investments in American resources would deny terror states U.S. funding via the oil market. The Left has denied voters  the financial stability that American jobs provide while growing an important sector of business.  At this time of economic upheaval, high quality jobs in the energy sector would provide American citizens long term  financial stability that NAFTA has denied since the Clinton administration. Clearly, the Democrats have failed to protect  an American economic sector that needs to expand for quality jobs, voters financial stability and national security.  It is this writers opinion, that ultimately America is better off with high paying long term jobs and energy independence from the Middle East.  America needs to bring jobs home starting with the energy sector.

    With the job market getting more difficult by the day, Washington has decided that American business needs more workers competing for fewer jobs. Illinois Senator Dick Durbin (D), Nevada Senator Harry Reid (D), and others on Capitol Hill have been having meetings where leaders of both Parties have shown a desire during this time of economic upheaval to sneak through massive increases of foreign workers.  It is Washington’s action and inaction that has been partly responsible for today’s recession.  Workers loss wages across the board and the open border policies  have caused the welfare state to expand.
    Washington’s refusal to secure the United States borders with Mexico has had a devastating effect on the American worker.  Working citizen’s wages have been uncut on every manual labor job across the U.S. As American jobs are reduced because of business cutbacks, career politicians in Washington have decided that an increase in the number of workers is important. H-1B visas for foreign tech workers, H-2B visas for foreign laborers, green cards for permanent foreign nurses and a five-year visa for 12-20 million illegal foreign workers and their dependents will act as competition for American workers.
    Washington’s plan will cause jobs that include benefits to decline.   More workers competing for fewer jobs will cause wages to drop.  The American economy, fighting to stay alive in spite of the housing crisis, will incur more governmental spending on welfare programs.  For those coming into America that can’t find a job, Washington will expand the welfare system to cover all needs. With American workers  looking for ways to increase their monthly income, Washington seems to believe that lowering wages and spending more on welfare is a smart thing to do.  It’s hard to imagine how lower wages and cheaper labor could improve the lives of the  American voter.  In fact, the results of Washington’s work has left the American worker unable to meet financial obligations that a generation ago were automatic with stable jobs.
    Last fall the American people spoke clearly to career politicians, however Washington’s leaders have tried on numerous occasions to make back room deals that would bring foreign workers into our country.  American citizens will have to go through the upcoming  recession while fighting to maintain their jobs and benefits that Washington would give away.  Political leaders have been attacking the American worker and our families since NAFTA was signed into law.  This attack is not likely to stop anytime soon as all three Presidential candidates, Sen John McCain( R Az), Sen Barak Obama (D Il) and Sen Hillary Clinton (D NY)  have ties to the open border lobby.  Clearly, Washington considers  illegal labor more important than American labor.  At this time, the American workers knows he does not have an ally in Washington D.C.

           The open border Democrats have been successful in transferring much of the Mexican and Central American poverty  into U.S. urban cities.  Sanctuary city policies separate Americans from jobs and tax payers from benefits that U.S. citizens should reap.  The Democrats support of sanctuary city policies has had a devastating effect on the poor and working class individuals because illegals have undercut wages on every job.  The Hispanic community that has moved into the Democratic strongholds like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and San Francisco are destined to a life of  poverty because of the failed urban schools.  These urban school failures have held minorities hostage for decades. These failures will have a devastating effect on the American economy for generations.  Another very disturbing reality is that Democrats have opened up America’s welfare state to illegals.  The American government spends an estimated $338.3 billion a year on benefits for citizen of countries other than America.  These expenditures would go a long way in correcting the Social Security gap. Look for disbursements in social services to sky rocket as  Hispanic women have the highest unmarried birthrate in the country. Moreover, 48 percent of all Hispanic births occur outside of marriage. Also, Hispanics have the highest school drop-out rate in the country, a recipe for economic and social disaster. It is estimated that this population will increase three times in the next few decades. Welfare, medical care and housing are the gifts of the left that are paid for by legal citizens.  Health care faculties in the southwest have had to close because of the influx of “anchor babies” and emergency room visits by illegals.   The inflow of illegal aliens has serious hidden medical consequences.  Third world diseases such as drug-resistant tuberculosis, malaria, leprosy, plague, polio, dengue, and Chagas disease have appeared.  These diseases have been defeated by the American health field for quite some time.                The fact is that police departments in almost every city in the nation spend  their time responding to crime by illegal aliens.  Officers look for the illegal alien culprits, arresting them when their local laws allow them to.  They have to process them through the system which means more officers and bigger departments that are stretched to the limit by people who shouldn't be here in the first place.  The court systems are backed up and  taxpayers foot the bill for processing.  (California spends an estimated $1 billion a year housing illegals in their  prison system) The loss of life on our highways is  well documented.  The national murder rate has increased along with gang activity.   Smuggling people and illegal drugs into the United States has increased.  The people that live in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and California have been devastated by crime and illegal drugs.
     It is my opinion that illegal immigration is key to our the future. Government needs to reduce spending.  Americans need higher paying jobs with benefits.  Clearly, this issue is still in play after watching President Bush’s State of the Union speech.  President Bush and his open border  allies have de-funded the border fence once before.  These same elected officials have attempted to deceive voters.    It was the American people that sent the amnesty legislation and Dick Durbin’s  “Dream Act” to defeat multiple times last fall. Will we see those nightmares again? Washington’s priorities include giving  stimulus rebate checks to illegals to help the American economy.   Washington’s priorities and  policies have made Americans  second class citizens in our own country. It is these policies that spell disaster for every sanctuary city and the state that it resides in. America’s legal citizens will pay the price for Washington’s foolishness. Luckily, we have an election.

    Water boarding Democrat Style

      A great passion surfaces with the debate of water boarding.  Most Democratic leaders say publicly that water boarding is torture and should not be used.  Most Republicans say water boarding is not torture and has been effective in saving lives all over the world.  As with every issue relating to the War on Terror, the Democrats are playing politics with the safety and security of Americans both at home and on the battlefield.  The politicized  list of issues is stunning. The most important issues are Democrats support of the New York Times release of information about the money transfer and the terror surveillance program.  Then there was Democratic Senator Harry Reid’s statement that the war in Iraq “is lost”.  Also, the liberal Democratic leadership working hand in hand with Moveon.org as they attacked  America’s finest general David Petraeus  insulting every man that has worn a uniform.  Rep John Murtha followed this with calling the Haditha Marines “cold blooded killers” on national television.  Since the election, the Democrats have attempted to force the Commander and Chief to bring troops home despite the great success of the military surge.  However, the issue of water boarding  is somewhat different in that  American cities will face a moment in time when a terrorist holds the key to saving millions of lives.
    
    Will Democratic leaders protect American citizens in major cities?   Will they act to save the lives of people in New York, Washington D.C.,  Los Angeles, and Chicago or let the bombs go off?   Clearly,  the Democrats will not water board. They have taken the position assuring America that the terrorists bombs will explode as they fatten the terrorist with food and drink.  Just like on 9-11, all of the Muslim world will celebrate Allah’s great day.  The Democrats will explain to the American population that they did not want to make the terrorists uncomfortable.  When this scenario plays out, the Democrat play book will include blaming President Bush and quite possibly  Vice President Cheney.

      Clearly, a terrorist planning an attack on American soil must to be jumping up and down with excitement and great joy.  Not one of the Democrats have said they will protect America with every tool possible.  Can you imagine the terrorist’s joy when they found out about the wire transfer program, the terror surveillance program, Democratic leadership’s  call for defeat, etc.         

    As John Murtha (D.PA) has stated about our soldiers on the battlefield, “they cracked under the pressure.”  Clearly, the only people that have “cracked under the pressure” are the Democrats Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Dick Durbin, and John Murtha .  The Democratic leadership is as dangerous to the American population as radical Islam is to the world.  Will the terrorists enjoy a time of great victory with a Democratic victory in the next election?  Will the war on terror continue until radical Islam wins?  Or will the American people demand that Democratic leadership protect it’s citizens against an enemy that wants to butcher their children.  War is an ugly thing, and no place for a  politically correct liberal.  If Hillary Clinton or Barak Obama is elected, will either have credibility with the troops?  If the soldiers on the battlefield are killed because information wasn’t extracted by water boarding, what will happen?  If there is a terrorist attack in New York City, will it be because the terrorist wasn’t water boarded?  

    From an underground bunker it’s easy to give terrorists rights.  I would suspect that citizens of New York City have a much different view.

CHEAP LETTUCE

It is my opinion that American political leaders believe that Mexico’s citizens have elected them. I say that because illegals reap benefits that legal American citizens do not. Illinois is one of 10 states that provide in state college tuition to illegals at the expense of legal taxpayers. You and I, both Democrat and Republican foot the bill, not for sons and daughters of Illinois and not sons and daughters of Iowa, Missouri, Indiana or Wisconsin or any state. But we do offer the sons and daughters of Mexico in state tuition at the taxpayers expense. Legal aliens from Mexico have to pay out of state tuition, so there is great incentive to be an illegal alien. Cheap lettuce never tasted so good.

One of the other great benefits that illegals receive is they are rewarded for their illegal activity. If illegals don’t pay taxes, not a problem, not for an illegal. I wonder if legal American citizens stopped paying taxes, would the IRS just forget it. I’ll bet not. Cheap strawberries never tasted so good.

Some of the great things that come with illegals are, Mexican gangs, illegal drugs, crimes of all kinds, you can find a story almost everyday about an illegal committing a rape, drunk driving, robbery, and murder. Once the illegal has a green card, the entire family then is eligible for entry into the USA. I read that the Mexican gangs are now working with terrorist to sell drugs on our streets to fund terror around the world. {Washington Times} When these criminals are caught and imprisoned like in California , the cost is staggering. $1 Billion a year is spent on illegals in prison in the state of California. California also spends more than $2.2 billion a year on educating Mexican citizens. Like they don’t have enough problems. Cheap apples never tasted so good.

In the last Amnesty debate Democratic and Republicans voters spoke clearly to America’s political leadership rebuking any idea of amnesty, and in building the wall and not spending tax money on illegals.. It was a pleasure to find that Democrats and Republicans can, in fact, work together to achieve what the country needs and people desire. The people stopped our foolish leaders but only for a day.

Amnesty has reared its ugly head again. Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin has been working very hard for the citizens of Mexico again. Recently, Mr. Durbin added “the Dream Act” as an amendment in the military defense spending bill S2919 . With three bills that include amnesty coming in the fall session, I know that amnesty is NOT over and is just beginning . Cheap lettuce never tasted so good.

Clearly, America’s political leadership has attempted to hide amnesty in these bills because they can’t be successful or honest with the American people. Cheap oranges never tasted so good.

It’s my opinion that amnesty will happen in the dark of night and behind close doors. As this nations leaders import Mexico’s poor to replace people in existing jobs and offer welfare to illegal Mexican citizens, know that this nations leadership is on the verge of giving legal American taxpayers all the cheap lettuce we can stand and shove it down our throat. The items I find interesting are that when our political leaders have achieved amnesty for the people of Mexico, the price of lettuce will be sky high and it’s quite obvious that Washington has way to much money on their hands.

I would like to ask both Democrats and Republicans to come together for this issue again and let our will be heard because evidently our leaders are not to be trusted.

Defeat at all costs and betrayal of men of honor.

After seeing the Moveon.org add (“General Betray Us”) that questions the honor of America’s finest General, David Petraeus, America can be assured that the Democratic leadership is in back pocket of this gutless antiwar organization. When Dick Durbin said, Gen. Petraeus “ “made a number of statements over the years that have not proven to be factual", I could hardly believe that this was the same Senator that had compared our troops to Soviet gulag’s, Nazi’s, and Pol Pot’s finest. But Durbin was not the only senator that had chosen to butcher America’s finest General in a time of war. The parade of Democrats included Senator Joe Biden, Senator Barbara Boxer, Senator Harry Reid, Senator Chuck Schumer, Senator Barak Obama, and Senator Hillary Clinton, followed by others.
Just one week earlier, that same Sen. Durbin had come back from Iraq with words that described the surge as a successful step in the right direction, good news for every American, but a view that would be short lived. With every reported success in Iraq comes a nightmare for the Democratic leadership. The Dems reaction is quite understandable since the enemy that they are fighting is not Al-Queda, but the President of the United States of America. The Democrats are not concerned with advancing freedom, stabilizing the middle east, freeing a people under a tyrant, lifting up our soldiers on the battlefield or defeating Al-Queada . The Democrats are concerned with calling our troops “cool blooded killers” (Murtha), “Soviet gulag guards”(Durbin), saying “the war is lost” (Reid), and calling for withdraw plan (Clinton). They are concerned with dishonoring Gen. David Petraeus In the last week, America’s finest General, David Petraeus, has been called a liar, untruthful, dishonorable, and a traitor before his first words were spoken on capital hill.
It is clear at this time, the Democrats must have defeat at all costs and they are willing to dishonor every soldier on the battlefield to do it. The Democrats have become the party of appeasement and pacifism. They have become european socialists that look to please the United Nations and countries like France. If you think that this war in Iraq has nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks and radical Islam’s ultimate target of America, you are living in some kind of liberal fantasy. If you question this, research quotes from the Clinton administration and the post 9-11 buildup, the Democratic words are there for you to read.


The successful surge in Iraq should be great news to all of America’s patriots and bad news for the enemies of America, which side represents your view?

The United States Senate passed a resolution that repudiated the Moveon.org add (General betray us) attacking America’s finest General at a time of war. The resolution passed 72-25 with 3 senators not voting, Obama (Il), Biden (De), and Cantwell (Wa). As expected, 25 Democrats voted against the resolution, literally supporting the add that questions the Honor of Gen David Petraeus. Among the Senators that question the General’s Honor were some leading candidates for Commander in Chief. Leading Democrats Clinton( NY), Dodd (Ct), Durbin (Ill), and Reid ( D Ne).
This voting record, is yet another example of the Democratic leadership being in the back pocket of the anti-war left. That fact leads one to believe that the Democrats are incapable of leading a military in a time of war. Democrats supported the defeat of the terrorist surveillance program and the money transfer program. John Murtha (D, PA) called United States Marines “ cold blooded killers”. Harry Reid (D,NE) said that the war is lost. Dick Durbin (D Il.) compared our troops to Nazi’s. and Hillary Clinton (D.NY) asked publicly for an withdrawal plan. Democrats words and actions do not support the soldier on the battlefield, but the enemies of our great nation.
With each of these statements a great cheer can be heard from the enemies of America. The terrorists sing the praises of these liberals at their campfires and on their rounds to kill American soldiers. The stories of weak willed Americans running from a fight all start and end with liberals, as they kiss the rear end of terrorists states at every corner of the world. When Pelosi went to “visit” Syria’s president Assad, terrorism finest, Hamas, Hezbolla,,and Al-Qeada knew that victory was within their grasp. These actions and words show that the Democrats, as a group or as individuals, can not be trusted with the security of the United States of America. The United States Military should be supported with words and actions from the Democrat Congress. The Republicans have already shown that they support victory for our Brave Men of Honor.

It is amazing that the Democrats could possibly think that they have any credibility with the American Soldier on the battlefield or the population as a whole. The recent 11% approval rating of the Democrat congress proves this fact. They are incapable of supporting Heroic American Men and Women at war. The simplest of American tasks! The Democrats don’t speak of American victory, but only of terrorist victory.
